Welcome April – Let’s Keep the Fun Going!
Dear RV Travelers,
Spring is rolling right along at Everglades Isle! April brings us sunshine, good food, local charm, and community fun. Here’s what’s coming up, and what to plan for, as the season continues.
ICYMI: February Highlights
February was full of fun, flavor, and community spirit here at Everglades Isle! Our Paint & Sip event was a crowd favorite—we had a fantastic turnout, and yes, we’ll definitely be bringing it back. The Valentine’s Day Dinner kept the good vibes going with great food and company.
We were thrilled to welcome BAT back to the stage—they never disappoint! A heartfelt shoutout to The Lions Club for their ongoing involvement and support. Cecil’s Famous BBQ Chicken and the Seafood Boil drew in big crowds, and congratulations are in order to our lucky 50/50 raffle winner!
A special thank-you goes to Danny, Mona, and their amazing crew for putting on Jambalaya Sunday in support of Holly’s Hope. We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up, pitched in, and made February one to remember.
March Highlights – What a Month!
March was full of energy—from St. Paddy’s Day karaoke to live music with Charlie Pace and Jack Shealy. BBQ and Philly nights were a hit, and movie nights brought everyone together. Thanks to all who made it memorable!

🌪️ Hurricane Preparedness – Plan Ahead:
As we approach the peak of hurricane season, it’s important to take proactive steps to secure your property and ensure your safety. Here are key measures to consider:
- Emergency Kit: Prepare an emergency supply kit including food, water, medications, flashlights, batteries, and important documents.
- Evacuation Plan: Know your evacuation routes and have a plan in place for relocating if necessary.
- Securing Property: Remove or tie down loose outdoor items such as furniture, planters, and decorations to prevent damage.
- Elevating Items: Store valuables and electronics at least 4 feet above ground level in case of flooding.
- Backup Power Source: Consider investing in a generator or battery backup for essential appliances and communications.
Community Support: Stay informed and connected with local emergency services. Visit the National Hurricane Center or the City of Everglades website for more information.
- Taking precautions before your departure will help immensely. Our goal is that when you return, your lot and Everglades Isle will be just as you left it—ready for another season of fun in the sun.
