Arriving at Everglades Isle by Boat

From the Gulf of Mexico, enter Indian Key Pass at green marker #1 (25 degrees, 47.942′ N / 081 degrees 28.059′ W); follow the charted channel to Everglades City; controlling depth of the channel is a minimum of approximately 6 feet at MLW; the overhead cables which used to limit masts exceeding 65 feet in Everglades City are no longer there; just after passing the Rod & Gun Club take the channel to port of red marker #44; Caution – an inflowing tide will draw craft toward this marker, so give it a wide berth and maintain sufficient speed to counteract any such effort of the current; continue up the Barron River channel following the charted marks to green marker #55; 30 foot boat slips are located in the basin with widths up to 18 feet; the controlling depth of the basin is a minimum of approximately 5 feet at MLW; The marina staff monitors CH #16 VHF and our telephone is (239) 695-2600.
